How do I upload my campus or game?

Here's how to get your campus uploaded into your game:

1. Locate the campus file you downloaded from Java, this will usually be an .rbxl file
2. If it's come through as a .zip instead, unzip it first to get to the actual .rbxl (or other Roblox) file inside
3. Open Roblox Studio and open the .rbxl file directly, this will load it as its own place
4. From here, copy the contents across into your actual game, or insert the campus into your existing game as needed
5. Once it's in, position the campus where you'd like it in your game
6. In the top left of Studio, click File, then hit Publish to Roblox (or Publish if you're already in your game) to save the changes

And that's it, your campus is now uploaded.

A couple things worth noting, if your campus needs any extra setup, look for a settings or config script inside it, that's usually where you'll need to make changes. Our newest products also come with Java doors, and sometimes gates, so if you want to use these you'll need to go in and edit the config script to set them up. Sometimes when you hit publish, Roblox itself will tell you you're "not eligible" to publish, this isn't a Java issue, it's Roblox's own eligibility check kicking in. As of December 2025, Roblox requires accounts to meet at least one of a few criteria before they can publish or update a public experience (ID verification, a real-money purchase since Jan 2025, etc).
